Global Diplomats and Executives Complete Prestigious International Business and Diplomatic Protocol Training in Washington, DC
A distinguished cohort of 27 international professionals successfully completed the International Business and Diplomatic Protocol Training in September 2025, hosted by the United States Institute of Diplomacy and Human Rights (USIDHR) in Washington, DC. The three-day immersive program delivered comprehensive instruction in diplomatic protocol, cross-cultural communication, and international etiquette, preparing participants to excel in high-level global business and diplomatic environments.
From the first day, participants engaged deeply with the foundations of diplomacy, including general rules of protocol and etiquette, proper forms of address and diplomatic titles, and the art of professional business card exchange. The program progressed into advanced applications of international protocol and cultural negotiation, combining formal instruction with practical, real-world relevance.

The September 2025 cohort was further distinguished by the participation of H.G. Gerhart Wilhelm Walch, whose attendance and successful completion of the program added a notable dimension to this accomplished group of graduates.
Throughout the training, participants took part in interactive discussions and applied learning experiences designed to strengthen diplomatic presence and leadership effectiveness. Upon completion of the program, all 27 participants were formally certified as International Protocol Consultants, joining USIDHR’s prestigious global network of professionals trained in international diplomacy and protocol.
Graduates commended the program for its depth, engaging methodology, and immediate applicability, noting increased confidence in navigating complex diplomatic and cross-cultural settings.
