#SchoolForAll

We are fighting poverty by giving children the opportunity to receive an education. There are 258 million children at risk, and only one in ten will ever go on record as being educated throughout their lives – but you can help us change this!

We provide Edu-Boxes with supplies for every student that includes back-to-school essentials like clothes, shoes, backpack and school supplies so they have everything needed for an entire school year!

Education is one of the most important tools for ending cycles of poverty, hence why alongside our research endeavours, we created our own charitable cause to further enhance our mission to help save vulnerable children through giving them access to education. Article 26 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights proclaims the right to education, but there are currently 258 million children in the United States and the world who are missing out on education. Through our humanitarian program, USIDHR provides vulnerable children from around the world with educational resources to go to school.

The EduforEveryChild program at USIDHR is providing children with  Edu-Boxes containing school supplies, uniforms, shoes, and everything needed to go to school for an entire year. USIDHR is a 501 (c) 3 charitable organization and proceeds from our training programs and all donations from the public are used to ensure we can facilitate #SchoolforAll

Why EDU-BOX?

Our Edu-Boxes contain all the necessary supplies for a child to attend school for an entire year. The contents of the boxes are sourced locally and prepared by our in-country partners, based on the cultural and social needs of each country. These are some of the items that the boxes contain:

  • School Backpack
  • Shoes
  • Uniforms
  • Meal Box
  • Water Bottle
  • Registers
  • Notebooks
  • Rulers
  • Erasers
  • Sharpeners
  • Lead Pencils
  • Ink Pens

Where do the funds go?

Our EduforEveryChild program was created to give education to children that do not have the necessary means to go to school because they are living in poverty. These children cannot afford the supplies needed to attend school, hence why are Edu-boxes are so crucial.

Our teams of experts and volunteers travel to different countries and set up collaborations with institutions and like-minded nonprofit organizations on the ground from areas where most children need education. Funds we have raised are awarded to provide children at risk of poverty with the right to quality education.

What happens with kids at-risk of poverty when they don't go to school?

  • The future for girls in impoverished communities is bleak. They face conflict at home and prospects of escaping poverty are slipping away.

  • Children live in homes with little or no electricity; internet access for electronic devices like tablets and smart watches; as well as necessary technology to download online lessons on these tools - leaving them entirely left behind by society’s advancements

  • With the rise in child poverty, we are seeing an increase of unhealthy children. In many parts around world school is where they get their only nutritious meal and access to basic healthcare.

  • Children who experience abuse, neglect or dysfunctional parenting at home suffer the double trauma of being cut off from supportive teachers and friends. As a result these kids often feel alone in an unfamiliar world with no one to turn too for help.

How USIDHR Helps?

How USIDHR Helps

UKRAINE - 2022

USIDHR team traveled to Romania on a humanitarian mission in March 2022, immediately after the war started in Ukraine, to support Ukrainian mothers and children arriving daily at the CATTIA Refugee Center in Brasov, Romania. While many organizations focused their efforts on other regions, such as Poland, Germany, and Austria, USIDHR aimed to help the the poorest and those who cannot travel long distances at one time come to centers such as this. In partnership with Pro Afaceri, the Brasov City Hall, and the Center for Integration of Migrants Brasov, USIDHR provided much-needed supplies such as food, baby formula, milk and water. Also, USIDHR team delivered a FREE human trafficking prevention training for the center staff, volunteers, and Ukrainian refugees to help equip them how to protect themselves and their loved ones against the dangers of human trafficking.

They all received Edu-boxes containing special education materials and classroom supplies as requested by the teachers, as well as shoes and clothing for the Winter.
