From July 23 to July 26, 2024, USIDHR made a notable impact at the Youth Summit on Peace and Sustainable Future in Montpellier, France. Organized by the Institute of Public Policy & Diplomacy Research (IPPDR) and the City of Montpellier, the summit gathered young leaders worldwide to discuss and promote peace and sustainable development.
- Keynote Speech by Dr. Isabelle Vladoiu: On July 24, Dr. Vladoiu, founder of USIDHR, delivered a speech emphasizing the critical role of human rights education and advocacy in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). She urged young leaders to apply their new knowledge to drive positive change in their communities.
- Workshops and Panels: USIDHR representatives, including Dr. Andrise Bass, UN Liaison and Board Member, led sessions on peacebuilding and conflict resolution.
