Human Rights Specialist, Dr. Isabelle Vladoiu

Isabelle Vladoiu

Dr. Isabelle Vladoiu is an International Human Rights Law Specialist and the founder of the US Institute of Diplomacy and Human Rights. With over a decade of experience, she has trained more than 20,000 people in human rights education, human trafficking prevention, diplomacy, and global security. Her expertise has been shared with individuals, policymakers in Congress, government officials, and leaders of international organizations.

Dr. Vladoiu has been recognized for her contributions with prestigious awards from two American Presidents. She received the President’s Volunteer Service Award in 2018 and the Lifetime Achievement Award in 2022 from President Biden. Her accolades also include letters of appreciation from governors, U.S. Senators and Representatives, local legislators, and various non-governmental organizations. Additionally, she is the author of two Amazon best-selling books: How to Become a Human Rights Professional and Business Etiquette Secrets.

Dr. Vladoiu is committed to making the world a better place through her involvement with several international organizations. Throughout her long and varied career, she has partnered with the United Nations, UNESCO, and the Organization of American States on topics related to sustainability, security, human rights, and diplomacy.

As an expert in feminicide across Latin America, Dr. Vladoiu has highlighted the severe impact of gender-based violence on global security. Her research and advocacy emphasize the importance of addressing feminicide not only as a human rights issue but also as a critical component of international security. Through her work, she has demonstrated how power disparities contribute to gender-based violence and the necessity of incorporating these issues into legal frameworks.

Dr. Vladoiu holds a Doctorate in Global Security from American Military University and two Master of Laws degrees.
