How USIDHR Helps
ROMANIA - 2021
USIDHR has supported 100 special needs children from Romania. Together with our country partners from St. Parascheva Orthodox Charity in Chicago, and Colegiul Sf. Nicolae, we were able to bring the Edu Boxes to Romania at special needs school from Botosani and help 100 Romanian children in danger of getting their education disrupted due to lack of resources. They all received Edu-boxes containing special education materials and classroom supplies as requested by the teachers, as well as shoes and clothing for the Winter.

Edu for Every Child is a program dedicated to providing resources and materials to children from low-income families so they can attend school. With 258 million children not attending school, USIDHR supports vulnerable young girls and boys worldwide. Where do funds go?

But the demand for education is so high that we also supplement our Edu for Every Child campaign with funds from our program services.
