USIDHR International Summit on Disability Rights Terms & Conditions
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS (the “TERMS”) OF US INSTITUTE OF DIPLOMACY AND HUMAN RIGHTS INTERNATIONAL SUMMIT ON DISABILITY RIGHTS 2022 (“ISDR”) FOR PREVIOUS LIVE EVENT PURCHASERS ONLY
ALL AMOUNTS ARE EXPRESSED IN U.S. DOLLARS
1. TRANSFER, DEFAULT, CANCELLATION, TERMINATION, AND DAMAGES FEE
Transfer and Complimentary Enrollments: If you are unable to attend ISDR 2022 for any reason, you may have someone substitute for your participation in the chosen Event. Email the USIDHR Customer Service Department at least 30 days prior to the beginning of the chosen ISDR to transfer your enrollment. Previously transferred and complimentary tickets are not eligible. If you are unable to attend ISDR 2022 and do not wish to substitute, contact info@usidhr.org at least 30 days prior to the beginning of the announced dates of ISDR – December 1st, 2022. We will offer a voucher for the next event if within 30 days of the 2022 event.
Default: Customer’s account must be current under these Terms before the start of the event.
Cancellation: Customer may cancel this transaction by submitting to USIDHR support team (info@usidhr.org) a signed and dated written notice postmarked 30 days prior to the commencement of the chosen ISDR. Notice must be emailed. Refunds will be issued within 4-6 business days based on original method of payment.
No-Show: No refund or other credit will be provided if Customer fails to both 1) attend the chosen ISDR on the ISDR Summit dates and 2) obtain advance written consent from USIDHR’s, as provided in section 2.A., and 2.C. herein.
2. COVID-19 POLICY
You may cancel your registration and receive a full refund by November 1st, 2022 or 30 days or more before the conference. Within 30 days of the conference, our usual cancellation policy will apply. Any registrants exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms or who have been exposed to COVID-19 within 5 days of the conference must cancel their registration or transfer it to another person. Please contact info@usidhr.org with any questions.
In keeping with the applicable laws in the host country and our responsibility as host, USIDHR leadership has decided that all participants at the in-person 2022 ISDR Summit, whether a presenter, attendee, exhibitor, staff, guest, or vendor will be required to either 1)be vaccinated with 2 doses or present a valid negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of the start day of the conference. A vaccination card or COVID-19 test will have to be provided during registration for the conference and/or during Check-in at the conference hotel. Failure to present such documentation as requested will result in your non-acceptance to attend the Summit and non-refund of your Summit ticket.
3. GENERAL PROVISIONS
Warranties: Customer acknowledges that Customer is not relying upon any warranties, promises, guarantees or representations made by USIDHR’s or anyone acting or claiming to act on behalf of USIDHR’s unless it is in writing and made a part of these Terms. All advertising material and all prior representations or agreements, if any, whether oral or written, are hereby superseded by these Terms. These Terms contains the entire understanding and agreement between Customer and USIDHR’s, and no addition or modification of any of the terms herein shall be effective unless set forth in writing and signed by Customer and USIDHR’s. No USIDHR’s representative has authority to modify any of these Terms.
Terms and Conditions: By signing up and registering for the ISDR Summit, Customer is agreeing to be bound by these Terms, including all the Terms and Conditions herein. These Terms are governed by the laws of the District of Columbia.
Dates, times, and structure of the in-person ISDR are subject to change.
USIDHR’s reserves the right to terminate this enrollment for any reason it deems appropriate. Tuition credits and refunds will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Assignment: This agreement may not be assigned to another individual or entity without express written approval of USIDHR.
Further Releases: At USIDHR’s sole discretion, USIDHR’s may require you to agree to additional terms and conditions to attend the ISDR Summit. Such additional terms shall be in addition to, and shall not supersede these Terms, and these Terms shall continue in full force and effect.
Copyright: You also understand and agree that all written and/or electronic materials provided by USIDHR in connection with the ISDR Summit are protected by the copyright laws, and you agree not to use any and all such written/electronic materials in any form after the ISDR Summit, other than for your personal use.
